H3C- Intelligent Management Center
H3C NETWORK TOPOLOGY INTELLIGENT MANAGEMENT CENTER
FEATURES
Modular Unified Management Platform
iMC provides a modular, scalable framework for managing network resources, devices, services, and operations in one system, allowing the addition of modules like APM, EIA, WSM, BIMS, CAMS, etc.
Comprehensive Device & Topology Visibility
Automatically discovers network devices using SNMP, ICMP, WMI, CLI, etc., and draws Layer-2 and Layer-3 topology maps to visualize network structure and relationships.
Real-Time Fault, Performance & Event Management
Monitors device status, link performance, traffic loads, alarms, and faults in real time. Supports threshold alerts, historical trend analysis, and event correlation.
Endpoint & Access Control via EIA Module
The EIA (Endpoint Intelligent Access) module integrates endpoint authentication, role-based access control, guest access, and policy enforcement for wired, wireless, and VPN access. It can scale to manage up to one million devices.
Service & Application Performance Management (APM)
With the APM module, iMC can monitor application, server, and database performance metrics, linking them to network status and describing service-level health.
License-Based Feature Expansion
Advanced features like ACL management, RESTful API, WSM (Wireless Service Manager), BIMS (Branch Intelligent Management), CAMS, etc., are available via add-on licenses.

H3C NETWORK TOPOLOGY IH3C IMC APM
FEATURES
Unified Application & Server Monitoring
APM (Application Performance Management) within iMC provides a single interface to monitor faults, performance, and health across applications, servers, and databases. It integrates with iMC’s Service Health Manager (SHM) to deliver a holistic assessment of network service health.
Correlated Infrastructure & Service Insights
By combining application metrics and network status, iMC APM helps pinpoint whether performance issues originate from the network, server, or application layer—improving diagnostics and reducing mean time to resolution.
Scalable License-Based Component
APM is delivered as a modular license component of iMC. You can scale the number of monitored applications/servers by adding more APM licenses.
Proactive Alerting & Thresholds
Allows definition of thresholds on application, database, server, or service metrics so that alerts are triggered when performance deviates beyond acceptable bounds.
Historical Trends & Reporting
APM retains historical performance data, enabling trend analysis and report generation to support capacity planning and SLA verification.
SPECIFICATIONS
Monitored Targets: Applications, servers, databases (via agents or agentless methods)
Integration: Works with iMC’s Service Health Manager (SHM) module
Licensing Options: Tiered license packages (e.g. 25, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000 monitored entities)
Deployment: Runs as part of iMC platform (same server or distributed architecture)
Protocols / Metrics: Supports collection of application/server metrics (CPU, memory, response times, DB queries, etc.) (typical for APM modules)
Alerting: Custom threshold-based alerts on metrics, correlated fault alarm generation
Reporting: Trend charts, SLA compliance, performance reports
Scalability: Depends on iMC platform size and hardware sizing; can be expanded via licensing
Platform Requirements: Same as iMC (server OS, memory, storage) as APM is a module on iMC
