HOCHIKI FDAS DCP-FRCMA FAST RESPONSE CONTACT MONITORING MODULE

FEATURES

Rapid addressable contact-monitoring solution
The module is specifically designed to monitor dry-contact alarm initiating devices (like pull stations or water-flow switches) and report changes immediately via the DCP (Digital Communications Protocol) on the SLC loop.
Single loop address, high device capacity and configurable contact modes
Each module is individually addressed (stored in onboard EEPROM) and up to 127 devices can be installed on one DCP loop. It supports both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) contact monitoring (in Class B) and also supports wiring in Class A or Class B configurations.
Fault supervision, optional short-circuit isolator (SCI version)
The version ending in “-I” includes built-in SCI functionality: if a short circuit occurs on the S-SC line, the module isolates the fault, lights a yellow LED indicator, and reports the condition to the control panel—ensuring the remainder of the loop remains operational.
